Thanks to social distancing, many people have found themselves turning to virtual meetings and video calls to stay connected. This is why companies like Zoom, Microsoft, and Google have all made their bid for capitalizing off the current need.
Well, it looks like those companies might have to make room, because there’s some new competition.
Facebook launched a new group video chat feature that allows up to 50 people to join in on the conversation. The new feature is named Facebook Messenger Rooms and will be rolled out in certain countries this week before being available globally.
