A state of emergency has been declared in Elizabeth City, NC. Officials declared it on Monday, in preparation for the release of body cam footage captured during the killing.
Andrew Brown Jr. was fatally shot, last week, during a drug-related warrant that was executed by sheriff’s deputies.
The video was privately shown to the family and attorneys on Monday.
