Police Officer Who Shot Jacob Blake Faces No Federal Charges

On Friday, The United States Justice Department announced that Kenosha police officer, Rusten Sheskey, will not be facing any federal charges.
Last August, Sheskey shot Jacob Blake multiple times. In a released statement, by the U.S. Justice Department, it was said “the evidence obtained is insufficient to prove that the KPD officer willfully used excessive force.”
It was also said that “a detailed and lengthy analysis of numerous materials including police reports, law enforcement accounts, witness statements, affidavits of witnesses, dispatch logs, physical evidence reports, reports photographs and videos of portions of the incident.”
