#21Savage Now Has A Felony Warrant After Skipping Out On Gig in 2016

It looks like 21 Savage just can’t get a break!
Freshly out of ICE custody, 21 Savage now faces a felony warrant from slipping out on a gig back in 2016!
According to TMZ, 21 was booked for a gig in Southhern Georgia where he was paid $9,500 in advance from the promoter and got a $7,500 balance when he showed up at the club.
For some reason, 21 left the club before he could perform, however he still kept the money!
The promoter went to the police back in October of 2016 to filed paperwork to get a felony warrant for theft by deception. The Warrant was then issued and was sitting for 2 years.
Reports say that after seeing 21 was detained by ICE, the promoter decided to pursue the criminal case. The club owner then called the sheriff’s office to pick 21 up on the warrant.
Savage is allegedly going to try to get this situation handled within the next few days, since it could badly affect his current case with ICE.
21’s lawyer, Abby Taylor, told TMZ, “Mr. Joseph has committed no criminal offense. We look forward to an amicable resolution between the parties in the near future with no criminal implications whatsoever.”

#21Savage Released On Bail! Deportation Hearing Pending!

21 Savage is a free man!!!! Well, for now that is!

He has been released on bond! He has also been granted an expedited hearing. However, it is still unclear why ICE kept 21 for so long because, by all rights, he should have been allowed to bond out the day he was arrested. He was neither a flight risk nor a danger to his community, which is the standard reasoning for holding someone that is awaiting trial.

21’s lawyers, Charles H. Kuck, Dina LaPolt and Alex Spiro told TMZ, “21 Savage asked us to send a special message to his fans and supporters — he says that while he wasn’t present at the Grammy Awards, he was there in spirit and is grateful for the support from around the world and is more than ever, ready to be with his loved ones and continue making music that brings people together.”
