Now I know this sounds crazy, but it’s been reported that banana pudding has landed Young Dro in jail!
He was arrested on July 5th after throwing a plate of banana pudding at his girlfriend, during an argument about money.
Police arrived at the Atlanta rapper’s home and despite his girlfriend refusing to press charges, Dro was still arrested. He’s now facing two counts of misdemeanor battery/family violence and has yet to be released from jail.
According to TMZ, Young Dro is still being held by officials due to a legal order over backed child support. Legal documents show that Dro owes about $41,000 in child support, and now needs to pay $10,000 in order to become a free man.
The child support case is not related to the incident of banana pudding, but does involve a previous woman who the rapper has a child with.
Dro has made a statement and said he’s actually up to date on his payments, and it’s must be a clerical error.
