#TimDuncan Makes An #NBA Comeback As Assistant Coach On The #Spurs

Tim Duncan may have retired from dribbling down the court, but who said he can’t make a big return to basketball in another way? The former NBA player has been announced as the new assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs!
This match is one made in heaven, because Duncan dedicated 19 years to the team as a player and will now have the opportunity to expand his legacy with the organization. In a statement released by the team, head coach Gregg Popovich said, “It is only fitting, that after I served loyally for 19 years as Tim Duncan’s assistant, that he returns the favor.”
If Tim Duncan’s career as an Assistant Coach is anything like when he played in the NBA then he’s guaranteed to bring the team success. While there he brought the Spurs five championship titles, won 2 MVPs, and leads in scored points for the franchise.
