On Thursday, Comcast announced that is has selected not one but two majority black owned independent networks. AFRO and CLEO TV will be added to the Comcast cable systems in January of 2019. Both networks will highlight and feature content revolving around African Americans and their communities.
CLEO TV will be catered towards Millennial and Gen X women, providing lifestyle and entertainment content. talk shows, docu-series, movies, cooking, travel, and home design will all be featured in the network’s programs.
Afro, is a 24-hour network from Afrotainment. This network will feature top-rated movies, dramas, sitcoms, music, comedy, and talk shows.
