It’s now been months since the tragic death of rapper Nipsey Hussle, but with the help of Puma and just days after the celebration of Nipsey’s birthday, it being proven that the marathon in deed continues!
It’s no secret Hussle had close ties with the clothing brand and had been working with Puma before his death. Well, it’s now been confirmed that the we can be expecting the release of Nipsey and Puma’s collaborative collection soon!
The line will be dropping on September 5th of this year and fans of both the rapper and clothing brand are super excited! The announcement of the collaboration’s release was announced via The Marathon Clothing Store’s Instagram profile, Monday, with a post reading “17 days.”
In a statement made by Puma’s brand and marketing global director, Adam Patrick Reveals future plans of continuing the rapper’s legacy with the clothing brand and discussed the contribution he made while alive.
“We had a lot of things that were coming, and hopefully a lot of things we will still do with his estate. We’ll work with his family and we’ll support his kids…We’re going to continue to release some product that we’ve created with him. We’ve also got some charity activations that we’ll do to support what he was doing in Crenshaw, and trying to continue the work that he was doing through his foundation.”
