Puerto Rico has officially declared a state of emergency after experiencing multiple earthquakes over the last two days.
On Monday, residents shared multiple pictures of damages left by a 5.8 magnitude earthquake, including blocked roadways. However, Tuesday morning Puerto Rico was shook by a deadly 6.4 magnitude earthquake along with several other tremors. Reports are now saying this is likely to be the most damaging earthquake to impact the island since the year of 1918.
Although FEMA has not yet been asked to help, Gov. Wanda Vazquez Garced did sign a state of emergency declaration, which activated the National Guard of Puerto Rico.
Join us in sending our support and best wishes for Puerto Rico as they experience the aftermath of these earthquakes.
