For Andrew Yang to have no previous experience in politics, he’s put up quite a stance in the 2020 presidential race. However, Tuesday night Yang announced that his run for presidency is now over!
While speaking with his supporters, Andrew revealed he had full intentions to complete the race. However, as he stood in front of a ballroom crowd while New Hampshire’s primary votes rolled in he said “endings are hard” and proceeded to announce his dropping out of the race.
Yang admitted, “I am the math guy, and it’s clear from the numbers we’re not going to win this campaign.” He continued, “so tonight I’m announcing that I am suspending my campaign.”
During his campaign Andrew Yang spoke of implementing a universal basic income and warned of the perils of automation.
