Workers in the health profession and first responders have been on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus, which definitely deserves gratitude. Which is why McDonald’s has found a new way to say “thank you.”
According to reports, the fast food chain will be giving out free meals to healthcare workers and first responders, starting April 22nd, in hopes of providing some relief as they continously work to combat COVID-19 and keep us safe.
Healthcare workers, police officers, fire fighters, and paramedics can choose from various items on both the breakfast and lunch/dinner menu which will be given out in the company’s famous Happy Meal boxes. The meals are appropriately named “Thank You Meals” and can be picked up in drive-thru or carryout at participating stores.
To get a “Thank You Meal” all first responders and health care workers have to do is wear their uniform or present their badge, through May 5th.
