Disney World is known for being a magical place to have fun and thrills, but it may take on a new role within sports.
The NBA is reportedly in talks with Disney World’s resort about finishing the season on their property.
It’s no secret the NBA had to bring a halt to their season after Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. Since then the league has been searching for options that will allow them to resume the season where they left off.
Disney World’s resort is one of few location options, with Las Vegas also being considered. However, the world famous resort does have enough basketball courts and hotel rooms to accommodate the needs of the league. Not to mention, there’s enough fun activities to keep players and staff entertained and comfortable while they resume the season in isolation.
