It’s no secret the jury is still out on the culture’s feelings about Tekashi 6ix9ine and anyone that works with him, for that matter. However, it looks like Nicki Minaj is making it hard for anyone to not support her new collaboration with Tekashi, which is set to be released Friday (June 12th).
The song is named “Trollz” and will serve as the second comeback track for the troll master himself.
On Wednesday, Nicki confirmed the new song was going to drop and hit fans with another announcement. She revealed that proceeds from the song and merch associated with it will be going to The Bail Project Inc.
In her posts she said, “The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail while awaiting their trial. We want to protect and support the thousands of brave people working on the front lines of social justice, using their voices to demand AN END to the targeting and killing of Black Americans by the police.”
This won’t be Nicki’s first time teaming up with 6ix9ine, though. Back when Tekashi was popping popping the two landed the #3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Fefe,” which was their first collab.
