Over the weekend, Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Chad Wheeler was arrested after leaving his girlfriend nearly beaten to death.
Celebrities, like Plies, spoke out against the incident’s lack of publicity on major sports channels like ESPN and more.

However, it was not until late yesterday that Chad spoke for himself, via Twitter. In a series of tweets the NFL player claims to have been in a manic state when the physical altercation took place.
Events happened over the weekend that transpired from a manic episode. I am deeply sorry for the pain and suffering that I have caused to Alleah and her family.
