Amanda Gorman has been getting to the work ever since she showed the world her “Black Girl Magic” at President Joe Biden’s inauguration.
Well, now she is taking her talents to the Super Bowl LV pregame show!
The NFL announced that Amanda will be reciting an original peom before the big game, nationally on CBS and in the stadium during the pregame show.
The poem she will be reciting will honor three individuals chosen by the NFL as honorary game captains.
The NFL released a statement saying, “These heroes are sybolic of the thousands of health-care professionals , educators, and veterans throughout our country who continue to care for, heal and support those in need during this pandemic.”
