It looks like Michael Jordan is coughing up the cash and giving back to his hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina.
The NBA legend is $10 million in order to open up two new health clinics near the Wilmington area. To do this, Jordan teamed up with Novant Health and stated the donation will bring “comprehensive primary care, including behavioral health and social support services, to the area’s most vulnerable communities.”
With hopes to open the two clinics in early 2022, Jordan says he anticipates that the centers will offer “much-needed services to those who are uninsured or underinsured.”
Okay Jordan, we see you!
