[Local] Audit Discovers Thousands Of Pieces Of Mail Left Undelivered At Raleigh Post Office

A recent audit discovered that thousands of pieces of mail were undelivered with some being left sitting on shelves for months, at the Avent Ferry Post Office. Auditors from The United States Postal Service Inspector General’s Office say during the single day they visited the location, more than 6,000 pieces of mail were undelivered.
