Meek Mill has been front and center when it comes to prison reform and fighting for justice.
Well, it looks like he has played a hand in helping another innocent man gain freedom.
Philadelphia resident, Eric Riddick, was sentenced to a life in prison about three decades ago. This cam about after he was wrongly convicted for the murder of William Catlett, based on only one eye witness testimony.
Although Riddick’s mother continuously fought for her son’s release, the case did not get national attention until Meek advocated for his release.
Meek reportedly met the now freed Eric while in prison for his probation violation.
Eric Reddick walked out of jail on Friday, May 8th.
