Stevie Wonder hit fans in London with a shocking surprise while performing at Hyde Park. He announced that he now had a kidney donor and will be soon getting a transplant.
Rumors that legendary entertainer has been facing some health issues have been circulating, but since Stevie never confirmed it hisself his announcement packed a lot of shock value!
Soon after delivering the news of his kidney transplant, Stevie let fans know that he would be putting his scheduled tour on pause in order to prepare for the surgery.
He says, “So what’s gonna happen is this: I’m going to have surgery. I’m going to have a kidney transplant in September of this year.” He also notified concert goers “I have a donor, it’s all good.”
The singer will have three more shows then will be taking a break until he has recovered from receiving his new kidney!
