Back in April, Lil Boosie got caught with a small amount of marijuana while he was in Georgia. Well, it’s looking like what many thought would end up being a slap on the wrist now has Boosie facing two felony charges!
According to TMZ, a Georgia district attorney charged the Louisiana rapper with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
If Boosie had been caught with the weed in any other state the stakes might not be as high as they are. However considering GA still takes charges involving marijuana very serious, there’s a reason Boosie should be worried.
When pulled over back in April, officers said Lil Boosie was allegedly swerving lanes and came close to hitting another car. Cops didn’t arrest him, though, until after finding weed, a handgun and $20,000 in cash. The rapper did luck out and wasn’t charged for the gun, but we’ll have to wait and see if the his possession of drugs will be what hangs him up!
