Lebron James has received many honors throughout his career, including multiple championship rings, but now he can officially say he’s been honored with a brand new building!
Nike announced they will be honoring the basketball star by naming the sixth and newest building of their headquarters after him! According to reports, the building will be located at the Beaverton, Oregon location as a part of the expansion project that kicked off back in 2015.
The building is set to house Nike’s Advanced Innovation team and will also be the home of it’s state-of-the-art Sports Research Lab.
The lab itself is set to be five times as big as the company’s current facility and will include a 200-meter endurance track, a 100-meter straight away, an artificial turf training pitch, and a full NBA-sized basketball court.
