With the year and decade coming to an end, its no surprise that some of our favorite publications are naming who they think are the best of the best in various industries.
The Associated Press revealed their list of top athletes for the Decade and tennis player, Serena Williams, took the cake in the women’s department.
Serena’s new honor is actually one that is very well deserved. She is of the most decorated female athletes in history; winning more Grand Slam single titles than any female tennis player in the last 10 seasons. She has also managed to remain at no. 1 in the WTA ratings for 3½ consecutive years!
Congratulations Serena Williams!
