The first class of LeBron James’ I Promise school network is preparing to graduate with their eyes set on college! Well, 198 selected students took a trip to Kent State University in Northeast Ohio, where many of them had dreams of attending.
During the visit, representatives from Kent State made an announcement that made the students dreams a reality! Thanks to a partnership between the university and LeBron James’ Family Foundation, the students will be able to attend Kent State tuition free for all 4 years! In addition, the students will also have 1 year of room and board paid for.
As you can imagine, the students and parents reactions were priceless.
