Cardi B’s best friend, Star Brim, was recently released from prison and seemed to be changing her life around. However, Tuesday Star along with 17 other members of the 59 Brims were indicted by Feds in a RICO case.
Lead prosecutor Geoffrey S. Berman, who carried out the take down of Tekashi 6ix9ine and the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, revealed the details of the case. According to Berman, the popular “Keepin It Bute” podcast host was the “Godmother” of the gang. He said, “The female members of the 59 Brims, who are not otherwise in one of the lineups…report to [Star Brim].”
Star Brim is also facing one count of Maiming and Assault in Aid of Racketeering.
Since Star Brim is pregnant and could have her baby any day now, she was not arrested during the sweep along with the other 17 gang members. However, her legal representation is working on an agreement for the soon to be mother to run herself in on a future date.
If convicted, Star abril could potentially spend a maximum of 50 years in prison.
