It looks like McDonald’s wants all the smoke with Wendy’s and pulled out their petty boots to prove it!
McDonald’s ’s has officially declared March 2nd National Egg McMuffin day and announced they will be giving the breakfast sandwiches away for FREE to celebrate!
Now here’s where the petty comes in. March 2nd is the same day that Wendy’s is set to release their new breakfast menu.
During a press release, the fast food chain’s vice president of U.S. communications said “while we’re giving the Egg McMuffin its moment, we’re really honoring our breakfast fans who have woken up with McDonald’s breakfast for nearly 50 years. And we just thought, ‘Hey, why not declare March 2 as National Egg McMuffin Day?.”
The petty is real!
