It looks like a new hotel is coming to Chapel Hill, NC and they have big plans in store.
The hotel, created by Graduate Hotels, will feature a room available to visitors which looks identical to Michael Jordan’s dorm room while he attended UNC Chapel Hill from 1981 to 1984.
Ben Weprin Graduate Hotels’ CEO told ESPN “the room is an identical replica.” He continued on saying, “From the ceiling to the brick wall, to the record player and records, the posters, the pennants; every single piece in that room, we have it.”
The room is cleverly named the “Jordan Suite,” however, the hotel isn’t just stopping at the room when it comes to paying homage to the basketball legend. The hotel will feature memorabilia from Jordan such as game-worn sneakers, his UNC student ID and a $5 check he cashed for winning a game of pool.
