It looks like Kodak Black’s lawyer is gearing up for a lawsuit after the rapper was photographed, without his permission, while in police custody.
The picture originates from Kodak’s arrest at Rolling Loud, back in 2019. However, recently the Miami Dade Police Department made a report showing that Kodak’s attorney Bradford Cohen recently filed a complaint with them alleging one of their men of illegally snapping and disseminating a picture of the rapper in custody.
According to the report, MDPD has conducted an investigation into the matter which revealed the pic was taken by an officer. However, it was not actually shared by one of their own. The officer, allegedly, took the picture and passed it on to a member of the U.S. Marshals Service, who then shared it.
Now, the Miami-Dade sergeant, who took the photo to give to the Marshal, is claiming the guy told him he needed it for “law enforcement purposes,” but Kodak’s lawyer is not believing the hype and says that’s a bunch of BS. Cohen is arguing the pic was taken for personal use and/or gain and had nothing to do with law enforcement.
A rep for USMS was asked to speak on the incident, but told reporters they are unable to comment, but wants to assure everyone that any allegations of misconduct will be thoroughly investigated.
