We are all anticipating the release of Pop Smoke’s posthumous album, which is why everyone was excited to see that the cover art had been released. Until they saw what it looked like of course!
So, here’s the tea!
Virgil claims that he had a conversation about the cover art with Pop Smoke before he died and tried his best to big the rapper’s vision to life.
Well, that’s definitely not how it looked, because the album art literally looked like Virgil took 3 photos and put them together with no skill.
So, in normal fashion the internet went in! So much so, that Pop Smoke’s label eventually released a statement making it clear that there would definitely be a change!
Now, this is not the first time the culture has had to come at Virgil’s neck though! He recently took to social media to brag about donating $50 in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
So what I need to know is what do y’all think about this cover?
