Yes, my girl Cardi is out here making history! At this year’s ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards the rapper will become the first female to earn the Songwriter of the Year award twice. She received the award last year, allowing her to join the likes of other women in music who have won like Alicia Keys, Kandi Burrus, Mary J. Blidge, and more!
The Award Ceremony will be held virtually this year and will take place July 15th through July 17th.
