A big congratulations is due for Cardi B and Megan Thee stallion. Although the two rappers have been catching a whole lot of backlash for the song’s lyrics, both Cardi and Meg are making big numbers.
On Monday, “WAP” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The accomplishment makes the first time a female rap duo took the spot and is the second greatest streaming week from songs by women overall.
Cardi B and Meg also achieved the greatest amount of streams within the first week ever!
The record was released August 7th and has already accumulated 93 million U.S streams in the week ending Aug 13th.
