Athletes Participating In Tokyo Olympics Banned From Displaying Protests Or Political Statements

We’ve been waiting a year for the Tokyo Olympics to take place. However, if you expected to see athletes using the Olympics to take a political stance, don’t get too excited.
Olypic Committee officials are barring athletes from displaying political messages or protesting, which includes wearing “Black Lives Matter” shirts. BLM apparel will, however, be able to be worn off the field during press conferences and interviews.
Athletes seen going against the ban could be sent home.
