The Washington NFL team has revealed their new name and can now be addressed as the Washington Commanders.
The announcement was made, on Wednesday morning, during the TODAY show. The team’s president, Jason Wright, gave a statement after the name announcement saying, “It’s a name that has the weight and meaning befitting a 90-year-old franchise.”
