T.I. may not be a stranger to trials and tribulation, but he’s also very familiar with service and honor.
This is why his hometown, the city of Atlanta, has kicked off the new year honoring him with the most prestigious award they grant.
The Phoenix Award is the city’s highest honor and has now been given to rapper T.I., for his continued community service and outreach. Just recently, T.I. and his wife opened an affordable housing community and have been no strangers to giving back to the community that raised them.
