The Federal Trade Commission Votes To Ban Noncompete Agreements

It looks like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announces a new ruling and a lot of people across the country will be affected.
On Tuesday, the FTC voted 3-2 to ban noncompete agreements moving forward.
Noncompetes prevent employees from working for competitors or starting a competing business after they leave a job.  With the new ruling companies will no longer be able to have employees sign new noncompete agreements and requires companies notify employees who are currently under a noncompete agreement that it will not be enforced.
