George Floyd’s death and the death of many other black people at the hands of police has sparked a historic movement like never seen before. That’s why its no surprise that many people have band together to help provide financial support to George Floyd’s family and loved ones.
Just a little over a week ago, the official Go-FundMe campaign for George Floyd was started and, through overwhelming support, has already broken records on the site.
Racking in almost 500k donations it has now received the highest number of individual donations for any prior campaign. That’s not it, though.
The Go-FundMe has now reached around $13 million and is still increasing.
Now that’s what you call showing up and showing out!
