Joe Biden kept it no secret that he was considering a black woman as his pick for a running mate and on Tuesday he made it official. Joe Biden announced that Kamala Harris will be the next Vice President Elect!
If elected Harris would become the first Black female vice president, which makes this announcement historic!
A lot of people have suspected that Kamala would be Biden’s pick, however, the announcement has still been met with mixed reviews.
The democratic convention is set to kick off Monday where we will see Biden accept the party’s nomination, virtually that is.
